you can get a new element at Lowes for about $10. the special tool to remove is $6.if you handy takes about 20 minutes to change. disconnect power,drain.Did mine last week for the same reason. old element was in bad shape.

you might want to check the temperature probe on inside of refer. usually clipped to one of the fins on inside. you also should clean all the connections on the electronic board. make sure your grounds are good.

the ISC has a coolant filter, that is located next to the oil filter. depending on the filter number it will contain different levels of DCA.
filter should be changed every year.DCA(SCA) test strips available from NAPA.

my question is if Bob Tiffin hired quality *quality control inspectors* ,wouldn't his after sales warranty repair cost go down. i don't think it's great, to be known in the industry as the best company that takes care of it quality problems After The Sale.

just changed coolant in 7.5 onan. biggest issue is getting air out of system. generator will shut down a few times before if finally burps.
